And Summer semester draws to a quick end.
It seems
like it wasn't so long ago that I was unloading Doris (RIP), but now
I've taken a full load in Shavonda over to Apt 833 and dropped it off
in my room-to-be. I check out of 126 Reed Hall tomorrow at 2:40.
I
spent the majority of my time with two unexpected people: Shannon and
Cain, and I thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent together. We have our
key phrases now: "Got it" "Couth and decorum" "Beluga whale" "Six
flags" "I'm a diva, dammit" and the oh-so-catchy one-handed raising the
roof.
I'm definitely glad I had Brandon as a roommate, though he was a bit abusive, but he was definitely much better than Gray.
I
also met a few awesome people: Laura, Amy and Annie, who got me
addicted to QAF, at the bookuhstore, Ashley and Julie down the hall,
and Drew and Didato, who are my new two favorite straight guys.
I've
grown very fond of tennis, which came from playing with the two
aforementioned guys, and I hope I keep playing next semester with
whomever.
My restaurant selection in Athens has grown a little bit since I ate out for dinner just about every night.
Boneshakers closed this summer, and now I have no where to dance to sobriety in Athens. =\
I came out to my family. I'm still shocked myself.
I ended up with an A in astronomy to the shock of many, and I'm still awaiting my grade in Econ. C'mon B!
I'm
definitely looking forward to going home, but I dunno how long that
feeling'll last when I get there. I know I'm anxious to get back in
Athens and reunite with my Rutherford girls and Boggs boys and move
into the apartment. However, I am not anxious about Accounting I and
Legal Studies. :\

So I just told my mom I was gay over the phone, which then turned into a tearfest.
And I got one of those "I'll love you no matter what" speeches.
